1st Annual CMTA STAR Dinner Honors Hall of Fame Coach Joe Paterno
The Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association is pleased to invite you to be there at the start of a very exciting time for people affected by CMT. The Strategy to Accelerate Research and our First Annual STAR Dinner, honoring Hall of Fame Coach Joe Paterno, are just the very first steps toward treatments and a cure. We hope you will accept the challenge of being a Table Captain and join us as we celebrate CMTA STAR and Coach Paterno at a very memorable evening.
The event will be held June 11, 2008, at The Nittany Lion Inn, located at 200 West Park Avenue, State College, PA. There will be a VIP reception with Coach Paterno beginning at 6:00 PM, followed by the dinner beginning at 7:00. The event will also feature a silent auction with many unique items, including sports memorabilia.
The VIP reception will be your opportunity to meet Coach Paterno and other distinguished guests before the start of the dinner. VIP reception attendees will also get a preview of the silent auction items.
The contribution for Table Captains is $10,000, which includes 10 Tickets to the Dinner; 2 Tickets to the VIP reception with Coach Paterno; and a full page ad in the Dinner Program. In addition, your contribution will be tax deductible and will help us achieve our goal of finding treatments and a cure for CMT.
We are close to making research breakthroughs that will impact millions of people across the country and around the world. CMTA STAR is going to turn the dream of treatment into reality, and we hope you will help us Honor a Star by Being a Star.
