Los Angeles Area Support Group
The first meeting of the Los Angeles Area support group will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2009, from 11:00 A.M-1:00 P.M. The meeting will be held at Fred Hesse Jr. Community Park,
29301 Hawthorne Blvd, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA in the Fireside Room.

Atlanta, Georgia, Area Support Group
The next meeting of the Atlanta area support group will be on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. The meeting place is not yet confirmed. The featured speaker will be Lynn Deal, a certified Pilates instructor. She has worked with CMT patients in the past and will present "Pilates at home, a CMT patient's guide to building core strength." She will focus on "arm chair" Pilates exercises which will focus on building muscles that are not affected in order to positively compensate for those affected. Come prepared to exercise and perhaps break a sweat!

Chicago, Illinois, Area Support Group
The next meeting of the Chicago support group will be on Saturday, August 15, 2009, from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. The meeting will be held at the Oak Lawn Public Library in Meeting Room C - Lower Level, 9427 South Raymond Ave, Oak Lawn. Please park in the parking lot located on Cook Ave. Elevator/stairs to the lower level are located at this entrance.
The guest speaker will be Marijo Pesavento, Physical Therapist & Pediatric Clinical Specialist from Advocate Hope Christ Hospital.

Twin Cities, Minnesota, Area Support Group
The next meeting of the Twin Cities area support group will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2009, at the Ridgedale Library Meeting Room, Minnetonka, MN. The guest speaker will be Dr. Gareth Parry from the University of Minnesota.
